If a customer had an accident using or transporting one of your products – where could they go for advice? Could you provide this support in-house, 24/7?
Carechem 24 was devised to reduce cost and overcome the difficulties faced with handling your own 24-hour advice service. As your Emergency Response partner, we tailor Carechem 24 to meet your specific needs.
Regulations associated with the transport, distribution and use of Dangerous Goods may require associated documents to carry an emergency telephone number, which is available 24/7 and from which product specific advice can be obtained.
If you are transporting by air there is legislation in some countries that require you to have a 24/7 emergency telephone number if you are shipping to, from or via that country.
CSR is seen as the voluntary actions that business can take, over and above compliance with minimum legal requirements, to address both its own competitive interests and the interests of wider society.
CSR helps to enhance a better working environment for employees, helps businesses contribute to social and environmental progress and supports long-term sustainable business growth.
Responsible Care is the chemical industry initiative through which chemical companies strive to continuously improve their health, safety and environmental performance. As the market leader in Emergency Response, Carechem 24 enables you to demonstrate your commitment to this programme.

Carechem 24 provides your caller with rapid (and friendly) access to information about the hazards of your products, together with expert advice on appropriate response actions to protect the public and the environment. Thanks to the prompt provision of expert advice, the length of time taken to deal with an emergency can be reduced significantly. This potentially reduces your risk of litigation after an incident, as well as helping to minimise clean-up costs.
Unlike some other services reliant on a mobile phone or an answering machine, you will always reach one of our Responders at our dedicated operation centre. They work in shifts, 24/7, so you can always rely on expert advice at any time or day or night, midweek or at public holidays. Our operations centre is located in one of the most secure sites in mainland UK, backed by a highly resilient communication hub.
We provide you with dedicated numbers for use on Safety Data Sheets, labels, Hazchem placards, Tremcards, shipping documentation, management procedures and loading/unloading sites
At time of emergency or concern our Emergency Responders can provide callers with an accurate evaluation of the situation, as well as using their expert communication skills to defuse possible crisis.
