Do you know how to create compliant COSHH Assessments?

Most people who work with chemicals are aware of COSHH but the problem the industry faces is the practical aspects of how to be compliant such as the ‘process’ of creating COSHH assessments.

During delivering other training courses, NCEC recognised that there was a need for a more practical approach to COSHH training. We have therefore spent the time to develop a refreshing approach to COSHH training. Our COSHH training focuses on helping the industry understand how to produce compliant and consistent COSHH assessments.

What can I expect from COSHH training?

Session one:

• An overview of the COSHH regulations

• Understanding hazard and risk information such as labels and safety data sheets
• How to create compliant COSHH assessments

Session two: Spending time at your company creating real COSHH assessments for some of the chemicals you require COSHH assessments for.  This will give you the opportunity to be helped through the process so you are confident in how to create future COSHH assessments and ask any questions that arise from ‘doing it for real’.
