It was great to see many of our customers at the Globalchem conference in Baltimore, which was organised by the American Chemistry Council and held at the start of March.
The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), with all its nuances and how it will change in the future, was front and centre of the agenda. There were also a number of break-out sessions, including one which had useful information on Latin American regulations and an update on China and Taiwan from NCEC’s partners REACH24H. The session generated a lot of questions, with delegates keen to understand the detail of hazardous chemical registration in the Asia Pacific region. For NCEC customers interested in global response regulations please see our latest emergency regulations information pack.
Those visiting NCEC’s stand were most interested in our poison centre white paper and information sheet. There will be a further report available when the project NCEC is working on with AMEC is published over the next few months.
As a result of our recent poison centre activity, we have been asked by several companies about how NCEC could help with their submission to these organisations. We are creating a pilot study of interested organisations to assess our ability to support you in this task and understand your requirements. For more information on this pilot study please contact us.
