NCEC specialises in providing emergency response and chemical safety products and services. As the UK's National Chemical Emergency Centre we support the UK Government in responding to a range of incidents. We also provide commercial services to the chemical industry and governments around the world, helping organisations to improve their chemical safety management and emergency response.

NCEC is proud to announce that for the sixth year running, we have been awarded the Gold Award mark of excellence for health and safety from RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents).
This is a huge achievement as the judging criteria is extremely rigorous undertaken by a panel including highly experienced health and safety professionals as well as representatives from the Health and Safety Executive, Engineering Employers’ Federation, Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, Society of Occupational Health Nurses, National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health, Local Government Employers, Electrical Contractors’ Association and the Trades Union Congress.
