Our lithium emergency response service provides a cost-effective route for transporters of lithium batteries to comply with the requirements of the ICAO Technical Instruction for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air and the 54th Edition (2013) of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR).
Our emergency response helpline operates 365 days per year, 24 hours a day, providing callers with immediate access to expert advice relating to lithium battery hazards. Our responders are trained chemists, able to provide assistance on all manner of incidents during storage and transportation. We handle 8,000+ calls per year, and have been the primary source of advice to the UK emergency services for over 40 years. Our customers trust us to provide the critical information they need to reduce risk and respond appropriately in the event of an emergency.
Our 24hr helpline service saves you the time and money required to develop your own response service, and enables you to respond quickly and safely, should an incident occur.
