Hazmat 2019 Pre-conference workshop
14 May 2019, Crowne Plaza, Stratford-upon-Avon
The pre-conference workshop returns for 2019 and we would like to invite you to something that is a little different!
During this half-day workshop, one of our crisis management consultants will work with you to support you in developing an understanding of a range of emotional responses to major incidents, both how the emotional response informs and changes perceptions and decision makings during the incident itself, along with its long-term impacts and the effects of stress.
This workshop will help you in
- Learning to recognise and identify stress overload
- Applying stress management techniques during crisis situations
- Managing the impact of stress on mental health
- Relating the learning outcomes to the observations made during the exercise delivery
The session will run from 1pm to 5pm and there are 20 delegate places available. To enable as many organisations as possible to experience this session, we are limiting places to a maximum of 2 delegates per organisation.
The price is £125 +VAT per delegate including tea and coffee.
About the trainer
Our lead trainer is an ex-military and a specialist in human intelligence (HUMIT). He has used his expertise to train and support organisations as broad as the UK Borders Agency to the Afghan Ministry of Interior, as well as joint operations across the UK. He is an expert in helping those on the front line understand the impact of stress on decision making and putting in place simple tools and techniques within existing teams, which helps individuals understand when stress is affecting their decision making, and helps the team members and team leads in identifying the signs of long term emotional response on colleagues.
