NCEC will be exhibiting at the SETAC Dublin 30th Annual Meeting.
SETAC Dublin is a five day event featuring a variety of training, networking and learning opportunities. Between 2,000 and 2,500 scientists, assessors, regulators and managers from academia, business and government, representing an average of 60 countries, provide a unique networking opportunity to everyone attending.
The event showcases emerging research, regulatory developments and the latest methodologies in environmental toxicology and chemistry. Chemical bioavailability can have a huge influence on both exposure to chemicals and how fast they degrade in the environment. Current guidance does not consider this in the weight of evidence, but data rich examples such as phenanthrene highlight the importance of this parameter. Incorporating considerations of bioavailability in the evaluation of persistence data should lead to more consistent and robust assessments of chemicals in the future.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to arrange a meeting at the conference where are regulatory consultants will be on hand to discuss environmental chemical safety assessment, REACH regulations and regulatory compliance.
