During a hazmat incident, access to accurate, up-to-date chemical information is critical to the emergency services and in particular, first responders. We are often asked what the benefit is of obtaining proportionate advice provided by chemical experts, when information is already available through various different sources such as safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical hazard resources, and how this proportionate advice could apply during an emergency.
In this webinar, we will examine how obtaining proportionate advice on specific hazardous incidents can impact the level of response required by blue light services – both at control and on the ground. We will be joined by Michael Kelleher Senior Executive Officer for the Cork County Fire Brigade in Ireland who will talk about the support they have available in getting expert hazmat advice.
The use of an example call will illustrate what callers should expect from a provider such as NCEC and also discuss how our expertise are being used internationally to reduce the impact and risk of responding to Hazmat incidents.
This will be followed by a question and answer session. If you have any questions you would like answered during the webinar, please submit them when registering.
Please join the team to discuss all the hot topics affecting the emergency response in the chemical supply chain.
