The free safety data sheet (SDS) check offer has now ended.
SDSs play a vital role in communicating hazard information throughout the supply chain. It is the duty of each actor in the supply chain of a hazardous substance or mixture to supply a compliant and up to date SDS. The information contained within the SDS is used by the end user to carry out their risk assessment, so it is important that the safe use information is accurate and up to date.
NCEC recommends that SDSs are checked and updated every two years in order to ensure that the product and its ingredients are classified correctly, based on the most up to date information, and that the rest of the content of the SDS is accurate and compliant with the legislation.
